How does he rack his slide with such ease? He does it two fingered with almost no effort....

Todd Jarrett is an inspiration, but I'm curious about the beginning of the first video. At my gun range, for safety reasons, we are not allowed to shoot at steel targets from less than ten yards, but he seems to be only five or six feet away. Is what he's doing safe?

Tuppy,

The targets are angled slightly and pose little danger of ricochet.

Right, for one shooter and up close, you can shoot steel if it is angled. As he does his quick walk-by of the targets and is firing, he ever fires head-on, but at an angle. The splatter ricochets forward of him.

I thought the same thing about him racking the slide. Even with the front slide serrations, he does it effortlessly...could this be some sort of slide modification that he made? Great videos.

Todd Jarret Shooting Demonstrations

I love to find this stuff listed on the forum. I'm always looking for things to learn from. Has anyone ever posted a listing of links to free shooting/training videos? You cannot ever stop learning. I'm a visual learner and love to watch these.
Thanks,
Maj USA (Ret)

Thanks for the heads up, elwaynum1.

It appears that the whole focus of this thread has disappeared, and there's no further reason to keep this open and stickied.

Hopefully, you folks that did see it took notes .

Sadly, closed.
