My newest build, loosely based on the C7A2. Pics

I am just about done with my latest build. I have always wanted to build an AR based on the Canadian C7A2, so I decided to finally do it. I decided to do mine in FDE instead of green.

Parts list-
Rock River Arms LAR15 complete lower
Armalite U15A4B upper with 1/7 twist
Magpul CTR stock in FDE
Magpul MOE grip in FDE
Magpul trigger guard in FDE
MagPul Gen 2 MBUS sights in FDE
Magpul MS3 QD sling in FDE
KNS Precision pin kit
Colt H2 buffer
Troy Pro Grade Sling Adapter in FDE
Troy Enhanced DI Battlerail in FDE, with Magpul XTM rail covers
Grip Pod
Streamlight Strion LED HL with Streamlight mount and flip up red lens cover
Vortex flash hider

I am now just waiting for the optics to arrive. I ordered up an Aimpoint Pro Patrol 2MOA and a Vortex VMX 3T magnifier with flip to side mount. I didn't want to spend $2K+ for an Elcan lol.

Here are a few pics. I am really happy with the way it came out, and had fun putting it together. Once the optics arrive next week, I'll post some higher quality updated photos.

Looks nice. Are you going to be able to wait for your sight to arrive or are you going to have to take it out and play with the BUIS?

Here are some better quality pics that I took today. This gun is a great shooter. I went and sighted in the new optics yesterday.

I love it. I have had a couple over the years, and they are handy. I only put them on my longer distance guns though.

All said and done, with optics, I have about $2100-$2200 into this build.
