I’d be more concerned about a gun that would wear out if lubed regularly with any kind of lube.
Bottom line, they don’t need anything fancy.

I've ordered from them a couple of times in the past but not in the last year. I imagine that everything is okay. I sent them an email to ask.
Did they reply? I emailed them also but they never replied.

I just tried that site and I received the following error message:

This is usually a sign that the owners of a site have not upgraded their site to use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology (the 'S' in the 'HTTPS' part of a URL). I did not get a reply. I don't know what the issue is over there, or if they went out of business or something. That's a shame either way. I mean, Lubriplate makes the oil and grease I use. Lubrikit just put it in handy sizes for regular consumers.

I'll get to looking the next time I need to re-up but even the 4oz containers Lubrikit sold last a very long time. In the meantime, does anyone know the next-best way to buy Lubriplate's FMO 350-AW oil and SFL-0 grease?

https://www.lubriplate.com/Consumer/...earmLubricants

They don't explicitly say what the oil and grease in their 1.5oz tubes are.

I use any oil I've bought over the years. I've got a few on my work benches and I'm not very particular: 90 weight; 3 in 1 oil; Breakfree CLP; Hoppe's gun oil; which all come to mind and might be laying on the bench right now, all at the same time.

What is more important to me are these "needle oilers" I use:
https://www.brownells.com/gunsmith-t...prod44434.aspx

I noticed most of the oils don't come in good dispenser bottle or those aerosol cans with a tube. These needle oilers work best for applying to a Glock's connector-to-trigger-bar-interface; or to the rail groove on a semiauto handgun's slide; or to the rings on an AR's bolt.

That is all

RemOil has worked well for me for a number of years. I've tried a lot and RemOil is nice and light. It doesn't coagulate after years of just sitting there.

For many years I've used 3 in 1 oil and white lithium grease. See no need to change.

One "highly rated" gun oil in Amazon is Mossy Oak Gun Oil. Anyone heard of this? Any fans?

It appears clenzoil makes the mossy oak oil. Not sure if its a special blend for mossy oak or just a re-labeling

Interesting. Thank you for your reply, Shadow9mm. I think I'll continue with Slip 2000, just to be sure.

The abrasives in anti-seize lubricants make them great for break-in. For normal use there are probably better options.

Had been using Shooter's Choice FP10 for years, switched to Steel Shield Weapon Shield, love it!

The Copper formula I use does not have abrasives. The silver formula can be used for lapping compound.

I do like some of the characteristics of anti-seize as a light grease but had shied away from them due to the abrasive contents of the ones I could find.

Which brand are you using?

Napa Copper. Not sure who makes it for them. It's slick as butter except for tiny micro Copper particles.
Last couple times I bought it for shop, all they had is permatex. May be the same, but I have never washed any of it down to see what's in it. Feels the same.

Good news! I don't know how I missed this but Grant Cunningham had this linked from his site the whole time. You can now get these very affordable products directly from Lubriplate:

There is a tube of grease from CRC “ Stalube” .An assembly grease with Moly- graphite.
The tube has a fine nipple opening under the cap.
If in fact, the moly-graphite stays in suspension … it should be fine enough for slide action between the alloy Aluminum frames and Steel slides.
Even with older Beretta 92 pistols .( alloy wears in many places- indicating softer metal)

I use slip 2000 on almost all my guns. I use fireclean on my roller delayed actions though because it seems to tolerate the carbon fowling better and still wipe off easily.

Ballistol, which is in...

..the category known as CLP.

CLP is Not a brand. At least several brands are CLPs.

Apparently Ballistol was created for German rifles over a hundred years ago.
Curious whether the modern Bundeswehr, Marine and Luftwaffe still use it.

If it’s gonna wear out prematurely or get damaged by using regular gun lube, it’s gonna wear out with fancy gun lube with a cool name.
