What kind of load of Triple 7 for .44 Pietta?

25.5 grs. by volume will give you a 30 gr. bp equivalent. 17 grs. by volume will give you a 20 gr. equivalent.

M14MSgt howdy neighbor...Palmdale, CA...

I don't use it no more since I broke the locatin' pins off my Pietta 1860 after 3 rounds of 28gr. 777 ffg... it's lil' hot and inconsistant for my likin' and I find Black Powder with how I shoot easier to clean up after...

I top off cylinders on my c/b revolvers. Army typically holds 36-39 grains BP or equivalent by volume.

smokin gun - yeah, that's where I shoot. I am not into CAS or SASS. Too busy with WW2 reenacting for another money-sucking hobby.

Will try the 777 with a lower load and see how it does. thanks
