That's easy. This one:
VERY, VERY, VERY EARLY 1964 production original, NEAR MINT AR-15 SP-1, in the original M-16(602) configuration. “Prancing Pony” Colt logo”, “Edgewater” two piece buffer, early plastic furniture, three prong flash hider, rubber butt pad, early saftey with hole, very early push pin w/ hole, non-chromed barrel w/1:12 twist, original solid split pin FP keeper, original bolt and carrier w/large head firing pin and the RARE original CHROME BOLT. http://weaponsman.com/wp-content/upl...28_closeup.jpg Yes, I'm a collector (and proud of it!) But, no I don't have ^^^^ that one! |

I'll take a full-auto MK18, VTAC enhanced padded sling, Inforce Gen 2 WML, Aimpoint T2 with lower 1/3 mount, B5 Sopmod stock, BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 grip, BCM Gunfighter short vertical grip, please.

Make: Colt
Model: AR-15 is the model. Optics: None. Accessories: Sling. Mags and pouches. Lots of match grade ammo. Then I'd sell it all or trade it. Already have a varmint rifle.

Not sure of the model, but it'd probably say Noveske on the side.

Can I just keep the one I already have?
I'd been packing the AA piston upper for a month in the snow and damp so brought it in last week for a cleanup. After cleaning and remounting the muffler, it put 3 shots in 1.5 holes and I called it GOOD ENOUGH. (wouldn't you?) |

Not an "AR-15" but in the extended family...
Nemo OMEN Watchman, .300 WM. Leupold VX-6 or Mk 8. TBR Operator brass catcher. I'd have to shop around for a good prone bipod. I haven't paid much attention to the market for about a decade.

Spikes Tactical Pipe Hitters Union rifle. Add in an Aimpoint Compm4 and a Surefire m600 scout with pressure pad. Oh, and a BCM KAG hand stop. Also, a Vickers 2 point sling. Last, but not least, a Pelican case with laser cut foam. And a ton of mags and ammo

AR Lite
I am not savvy enough on components and makes to say specifics, but my current thoughts on the AR platform are running this way:
-I want it to be as LIGHT AS POSSIBLE -slick side upper, no forward assist, deflector or dust cover, BUIS rear -pencil barrel or maybe a Fallon hybrid, likely stainless, but coated , quality enough to give a consistent 1 MOA 5rd group with good ammo on a single string of fire, when allowed to cool. Twisted 1:8, 16" length , 14-15" free float tube, just enough rail space to take a BUIS front sight and a simple light, which will live detached - 20 rd mag -ACE fixed stock - small bell maybe a 20mm, , 1 inch , 1.75X-5x variable or maybe a 30mm if not too heavy -CNC 3.5 lb single stage trigger -A2 flash hider is fine If this could come in at an equal weight as a M94 w/ 20" barrel, I'd be happy |

I'd be happy with my old HydraMatic M-16A1 from 1986... 3360336
Barring that magical moment... I'd like a nice 18" 6.8SPC AR with a nice 1-4x Leupold on a QD mount. I'm not a brand snob, so whatever is handy would be fine.

I'd just make almost an identical build to my current favorite, but SBR instead of pistol brace and get a suppressor.
Maybe also go 300 Blackout. Probably BCM upper, BCM BCG, Geissele charging handle and trigger, not sure on stock. |

Olympic Arms, Amazon aluminum rings, NcStar scope. Might throw on some Tapco furniture.

If it’s not to sell then:
Rock river Arms Fred Eishler series Predator 2 because I like the paws in the forend, rra match trigger is pretty good, I’ve had 2 of em, and .75 moa garauntee. 10 round magazine b/c one shot, one varmint and it doesn’t bump the bench or ground shooting prone. Harris HBRMS bipod Leupold 4-24 52mm scope because it’s a free $2,000 right there and Leupold It’s gonna need rings... leupold, why not. I guess I might keep that around a while. |
