Anyone Have Any Idea What This Is?
Hi everyone.
I went to look over a few guns that are going to be auctioned off tomorrow. This gun is listed, and I have no idea what it is. It appears to be a single shot with a lever to open the action. Not sure what caliber or any other real information about it, as the information is written in a language unknown to me. It's in really nice shape. What do you guys think? Thanks [IMG]45442952802_f72f79a0af_n by [/IMG] |

It is a Gahendra rifle, basically a Nepalese made copy of a Martini Henry. You can get an idea of value on the IMA militaria website.

Well it's a Martini-Henry from somewhere. Probably a .577-450.
You need to watch the greatest movie ever made, 'Zulu'. Here's a teaser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQrE8vOM0ss Flickr doesn't like IE 11. So the pictures stay small and are dark.

Not a Martini Henry, definitely a Gahendra.

Definitely it is a Nepalese Gahendra.
