I am dickering for a Remington Special Field in 2 3/4" 20 Ga. that is NIB. Can't believe my luck in finding this. 21" barrel,4 chokes, and English stock. Has anyone any experience with these? I think Remington only made these for a couple of years around 1990.Fill me in please.Thanks.

The Special Fields were only made for a short time and 20 guages sell for a premium. Is it an 870 or 1100? I'd guess 1100 since I think all 870's were 2 3/4 and 3". I wouldn't mind owning either model, but all of the ones I've seen recently were more expensive than I was willing to pay.
