It's actually a field I would love to get into. Firearms consulting for video games. Ian from Forgotten Weapons is credited as a consultant in one of the recent Battlefield games.
Attention to detail is something that makes a game stand out and more studios are hiring specialists to oversee and critique the firearms content in their games.
