Buckmark Red Dot
Can any Buckmark owners point me at a Red Dot sight that you are using now, that combines economy, reliablity and is lightweight. I like the ATN ultra Sight that's in the Cabellas catalog, at least the features listed. Don't want to spend over $500 for the Aimpoints they list. Any help would be appreciated.

Ultradot's are sweet. LOTS of bullseye shooters swear by them.

My Buckmark came with this Millet SR1. For a lower end sight it is OK, fun and accurate, but I took it off to use the target sights which I liked better. The red dot changes the balance of the gun too. Small and light is the way to go if you want a red dot.

After having a Millett on my Kadet, I'd recommend something like a Micro Dot holographic. That tube just makes it look ungainly.

Have a look at the Burris FastFire II on your Buck Mark. I've had one for about a year now and it works like a charm. It can stand up to the rigors of bigger bore autoloaders as well, so don't let the $220 price tag make you think you're overpaying for it. Works great on rifles too.
