Nice. I have my eye on a blued one in 45, but a 9mm might be a better choice as a hand me down. I have two girls to consider as well as the boys. Looking forward to your range report.

Mine is gonna be a range toy, so I went the 9mm version as the paper doesn’t care about the size hole I put in it and 9mm here is far cheaper than .45’s.

@mk70ss: Nice looking 1911. I'm just curious. Do the 9mm, 1911 springfields have a ramped barrel? I'm kind of looking for a 9mm, 1911 and a ramped barrel is a preferred feature for me.
