What grips do you like on your Ruger Mark III

I bought my Mark III Hunter used and it came with a set of Altimont grips. I like them a lot and they fit my hand pretty well. I did change them out for a set of Volquartsen Rubber grips and shot them for a few months but thought they were oversized for my hand.

I recently bought a pair of Herrett Stocks. They are a lot thinner and have a thumb rest which I like over the stock Ruger Grips.

What do you like on your Mark III?

So many good choices

For hunting, I installed a set of modified Hogues with the thumb-rest. For target/plinking, I purchased an extra set of original Ruger MK-III Hunter grips. Those Almont grips are beauties but then again, so are their other grips. I could use a modified set of Volquartsen plastic grips but they are too bulky for hunting. …..

Be Safe !!!

I don't have an MKIII , but Altamont is my go to for aftermarket grips.

I have a 22/45 but unfortunately mine was built before they went to removable grips.

Mine is the same but it is because it was cheaper than the one with removable grips (didn't know it at the time).

Im a Pachmayr guy. Been using their grips for the past 35 years. I like the 3 sided grip texture .
