S&W 457 holster

I'm looking for a holster for my Smith 457. Not a duty holster or an IWB holster, but something for conceal carry hip holster. Not much I can find. So, what other, if any, model Smith guns can I look for that will match the 457?

Any holster for a 4" pistol should do. Uncle Mike's Size 15 is one. What's your budget?

Desantis lists an OWB for the 457. Im sure the police holster companies probably have something for them too.

Have you tried Safariland, Don Hulme, Bianchi, G&G, etc?

Id stay away from the generic nylon and/or "one fits most" type. They usually suck for any kind of realistic use.

Simply Rugged lists their Defcon and Cuda holster models for the 457. DeSantis lists their Mini-Slide model. I own holsters from both companies and have been pleased with both.

I have a Tucker Gunleather IWB for my 457, but I know they make a good OWB that will fit as well. A 4516 is the same size as a 457.

I have a 457 and a number of 3rd gen SW's and holsters. My 457 fits my OWB Sig 220 holster by Galco and my Fist OWB holsters for the 4566 and 5906 and for my HK-USP 45 compact. Good luck.

The 457 was just the alloy version of the steel-framed 4516.
Holsters for either will fit both.
