Anyone tried loading .40 for rifles?

I can use slower powder(blue dot) for my 9mm rifle to achieve some impressive gains but could you do the same thing with .40?

my 9mm loads through a sub 2000

124gr @ 1650fps
90gr @ 2090fps

Both loads are non + p pressures but close(think 9mm nato).

Try some Longshot in your .40. I run 155's out of my handgun at 1300 fps, and thats under Hodgdon's 'max'. Be sure to use all the same bullet/brass combination, and work your load up, as it does make a difference.
