Mounting Optics on Winchester 1300 Defender

I have recently purchased a Winchester 1300 Defender and am interested in mounting a red dot quick site on it. It has no pre-drilled holes for mounting. I'm aware that there are not as many after market parts available for the Winchester, but considering that this is not an outrageous alteration I remain hopeful that it can be done. Any recommendations that you have will be most appreciated.

i spent probably less than 10 seconds on google to find this. i dont have one, so i dont know how well it works, however i know someone that has something similar on a mossberg 500 ad it works well. the one he uses the pin holes of mount it, looks like that's how this one works, which means that it requires no permanent modification.
