Thoughts on price difference ?

First you have the Mossberg 500 3-in-1.

http://www.impactguns.com/store/015813514828.html

$369

Two barrels , 28" and 18.5"
Pistol Grip
More or less turns it into a Cruiser type Shotgun with hunting cabailities.

Then you have the Cruiser ...

$373 ....

The only real physical difference I see is the Barrel tip and the Strap on the Pump....

Anyone know what might make the Cruiser more expensive ? Is it "style pricing" or do you think there are other innards that changes the pricing ?

Two barrels and few bucks less. Get the combo and throw that pistol grip away.

Yeah. The pistol grip looks like a lotta fun, until you get it in your hands. Definitely grab the $90 barrel instead.

Price check wal-mart for a standard 500a. Add 100 for the 18 inch barrel and see if you still coming out ahead. Other wise the top choice is the one to get...

Why the price difference?
Complex market forces at work, that's why.

Think green: Don't toss the grip, sell it to some techni-kool-wannabe, then deduct the price from the cost of the combo. It'll makes the combo deal even sweeter.

I guess it just really surprised me as it seems like you are getting such a better value for the one. And the kit would basically turn it into a Cruiser for those that wanted it.
