SCAR heavy...

I decided I couldn't live without a SCAR heavy so I grabbed this guy...

What a rifle....very little recoil, and I am shocked at the accuracy.

This is from 100yards off a rest with a TA01 ACOG. Rifle is as advertised....superb. The take down is as quick and easy as my M&P 9....

Awesome, just had one in my hand yesterday at the lgs and was then told sorry that ones already sold. They are selling like hotcakes here in tennessee.

Get rid of that horrible PWS brake and it will be even better. It will drop the concussion significantly.

My brother put a AAC Blackout on his and it is WAY less offensive to shoot.

Since you have an AR too, an extended safety switch to mimic the AR will probably make you happier.

How is the trigger on yours? My brother's is terrible, usable but I always think I left the safety on.

They are really nice rifles though. Way lighter than anything else comparable and really low recoil, even without that obnoxious comp on it.

Trigger is exactly like the AR next to it. It is already smoothing out, but I think I might go with a Timney.

I love the SCAR 17. Better than most if not all .308's out there in my opinion. I have a Trijicon TA11E Acog on mine and its a match made in heaven. I cant see why people dont like the trigger, my trigger was a little gritty when I first bought the rifle but its perfectly fine now. I have one in FDE - the shades dont match but I had too many black rifles...it was making me sick
