Did I lose my "Quote" button!
How do you quote another person's reply within your reply.
IIRC, there was a button you hit to create a quote. Where did it go? Or, (and it is very possible) is it user error and I lost my quote button. Thanks. |

If you're talking about the "Post with quote" button that is usually at the bottom right of posts, then yes, you lost that one - about 8 years ago! Maybe you're remembering the button from other sites, but we haven't had it here for a looong time.
If you're talking about the regular quote icon found in the icon section of post and edit windows ( ), then something is wrong with your browser. Maybe you disabled images (but you should have seen more problems than one missing button), or disabled JavaScript (although the button should still be visible, it just won't work). |
