Marlin Parts.

Hello Everyone,
While shopping for a replacement trigger guard for my new style model 60. I noticed all of the gun parts suppliers I frequent are out of stock with no backorder. Is this a sign of things to come? Is Remlin no longer producing parts for the 60?

Parts are produced in small batches, just a couple times a year. (In preparation for shipments of assembled rifles.)

It's how the firearms world operates.

Wait a few months, and everyone will be overflowing with parts.

You have a 'new model' or an old? Seems to matter.

I have the new composite 2 screw trigger guard. I ordered the one from gunpartscorp. I got this model 60 given to me in a sad state of affairs. It was super dirty, wouldn't eject, broken trigger guard and missing the rear take down screw and front trigger guard screw. I've cleaned it up and got the ejector wire adjusted and in the right spot. Hopefully when the new screws and trigger guard gets here it will run alright. It's amazing what a teenager can do to a rifle.
