Magpul MOE-SL Buttstocks Sold Out Everywhere

As the title says, I can't find an MOE-SL buttstock anywhere.

https://magpul.com/media/catalog/pro...ock_mil_01.jpg

They're not particularly expensive, and they're polymer, so I would assume they're easy to produce. Since when were they so difficult to find?

I've never wanted one until now, so I've never given them much thought until just now.

I kinda get that. I just didn't see it gobbling up plastic accessories like this. Good problem for Magpul, I guess.

I wish we would run a gun owner for president. I’m tired of what I see now.

Yeah, go figure.

I already have a Magpul CTR buttstock (which I like just fine), but I figured I'd try a MOE SL on my new FN F15 Tactical. I was mildly shocked to see that I can't even buy one at the moment.

Primers are unavailable. Eventually--all guns no go bang.

I suspect that AR's were far more plentiful 3 months ago than handguns, which is why mags might be easier to find. My LGS has tons of Magpul pmags available and I usually pick up a couple everytime I visit. I went from having 1 to 14 in the span of 3 months.

Not much pops up on the distributors websites from Magpul other than magazines. Grips, sights, forends, etc., show up once in a while but not many or often.

Take a look at the RockRiver buttstock.I like them. A unique feature is you can slide the buttplate down as an adjustment, altering the drop. Occsionally useful.

Coincidentally, I was down at my preferred local shop today (picking up a brand-new black Walther PPK/S ... how cool is that?), and my guy said the same thing — lots of Magpul stuff is unavailable, and he's not certain why.

He said he suspects that Magpul may be temporarily dedicating its capacity to something else, maybe to some sort of government contracts. He said that normally if he checked the warehouse for an item like that he'd see availability "anywhere from 3,000 to 15,000." Instead it shows zero.

Oh, and anyone who doesn't think my PPK/S is cool isn't eligible to be my friend.

Have you looked around at ebay?

You might be able to find one there.

ETA, yep, they have some posted there.

The only one I seen on eBay was a chinese knock-off which I would avoid entirely.

I think Magpul inventory will continue to remain sporadic at best. I had been searching for a Magpul angled foregrip for awhile and finally found one at my LGS a couple weeks ago. I'm sure somebody online had it but I wanted to shop local so I didn't have to pay shipping.

UPDATE:

A couple members here found me some sources. Apparently they know how to search the Web better than I do.

Thanks to all.
