Check out what I got for free

My mother law came to visit us this week. She brought a box of "gun stuff" that her neighbors had had laying around for years. She told them her son in law was into guns so they just gave it to her.

1 RCBS single stage press
1 RCBS powder measure
1 RCBS powder scale
a set of .270 dies

Sweet. I must be living right or something.

Life isn't fair, at least for those of us with "regular" mother-in-laws.

The "old battle axe" .................... oops I mean mother in law would most likely pitch stuff like that out before letting me have it .....................that's OK though though I get my revenge each and every day !

Now for the bad news...

Now you gotta buy a .270 to go with those dies!

Mike,

I got home 2 weeks ago, but gathered the family up and flew to Wilmington, NC. to spend a lot of time with friends up there right after I got back stateside. We just got back here Wed. night.

Love the people and the area up there, of course the highlight of the trip (after spending time with our friends) was checking out the 16 inch naval rifles, along with the engine and bopiler rooms on USS North Carolina. Even to an "old" shooter like me the rifles are nice but I drool over Babcox and Wilcox boilers and GE steam turbines and reduction gears.................not to mention approximately 20 inch diameter wheel shafts.
