Winchester Model 250 lever action 22 remove forearm
I would like to clean some minor surface rust off of a Winchester Model 250 lever action 22. How do I remove the forearm?
Thanks in advance, [email protected] |

Well, i have one at home and the forearm is off it already. I'm cleaning it. So when I get home this evening I'll look and let you know tomorrow.

250 forearm removal
Sorry it took so long to get back, but I forgot which forum this was on.
Remove the tube under the barrel, there is a cross-pin under the front sight that has to be driven out.. Then the forearm should just slide forward about 1/2 inch and pop out. it is held in place by a metal piece which is in a slot cut into the under side of the barrel, just below the rear sight. |
