New Tikka Hunter - Woo hoo!

Hey all,
Just wanted to thank you all for all the valuable input you all gave in this rifle purchase.
With the help of promotions and a gift card, Gander Mountain surrendered a NIB Tikka T3 Hunter in the venerable 30-06 to me yesterday, and I also walked out with a NIB Nikon Monarch UCC in 2-7X32 (which was a great deal too, sub $200). All I read here convinced me I didn't need a crazy high power scope with all the bells and whistles for this rifle. Loved the optic quality, and the ability to thumb-adjust the windage/elevation knobs.
I also happened to walk out with a nice used and gunsmith approved Beretta 390 (under $400). It was a good day. Now I just need a limbsaver on both, and it'll be time to hit the range.
Thanks again everyone!
Great forum here!

Shoot before you buy the limbsavers. The Beretta is a pretty soft shooter and probably will not need it. The Hunter is a bit heavier than the synthetic Tikkas and you may find that you do not need one for it either.

You did good. Those are 2 of my favorites.

Give us a range report as soon as you can. Sounds like a good combination.
