.223 69 gr Matchking velocities
Is there a good source for determining the different velocities I can expect from different loads? The book I have (Modern Reloading), only gives one velocity and different loads. I have a Savage 12FV with a 26" barrel. Any help?

Have you checked any of the other manuals that you have? Surely you must have more that one. That way you can catch any misprints that the other ones have.

I only have the one. Got any suggestions on a manual with better load data?

If you are using Hodgdon powder, you could check out their website data.

Thanks for the help. Would you rely on that data?

Read a little more of the book you have. In the chapter about reduced loads, Lee gives a formula for estimating velocity given charge weight, maximum load and maximum velocity. Actually, his formula is to calculate a load weight based on max velocity and max load given a desired velocity, but the application of a little 10th grade math will convert it.
At least this information is available in the 1st edition of Modern Reloading.
