6.5 mm Creedmoor

Just heard abt. this new cartridge in latest edition of Shotgun News. Sounds like a great cartridge, but info as to the dimensions of the case, etc, etc, were not included in the article. Would be interested in learning more--Anybody have more info on this cartridge, or know where info is to be had?

Which 6.5...

Zak--thx for the input. I read yr Shotgun News article and frankly was intrigued. I have a Bubba-ized military 6.5x55 Swede that shoots nice, but that's already a pretty decent sporter.

I won a Krieger bbl, reamed, headspaced, and fitted to my action, @ a fund-raiser for my gun club. Now I'm trying to figure out just how to "do right by" a fine quality bbl. So I'm looking and thinking. This rifle would be for silhouette shooting, and mebbe target work if I get that far.

I'm thinking, mebbe a '17 Enfield action (no bolt mods needed) and a Boyd's Varmint Target stock. Or should I just go with the standard Rem 700 .308-sized action? Now, that might not even need mods to the magazine!

Hey, Wildalaska--You love the Swedes, and the 6.5 caliber--any comments??
