Anyone in Nebraska hunt prairie dogs?
I'm looking for specific advice on where to go, etc - maybe tag along with someone on a hunt if possible. Would rather not stat randomly driving around western NE knocking on doors. I'd like to stick to Nebraska if possible. I'm also not dead set on prairie dogs alone; other non-game varmints that wander within .22-250 range are welcome.

Dunno how things are now but back in about 1934 when I was almost eight, we had lots of prairie dogs and rabbits in the Sandhills of western Nebraska. There was a push to eradicate coyotes so the little varmints thrived. It was depression days so I took them with .22 shorts 'cause the shorts cost two bits per box of fifty and long rifle ammo was four bits but, with head shots, you can see here my "trophies".
That was a long time ago so things might have changed.
