Looking for hunting lease in east / central TX

Hey, y'all...

Springmom and I are looking for a place we can lease to hunt deer, hogs and maybe turkey in east Texas - somewhere within two hours of Houston. We'd like bow and rifle privileges, and probably wouldn't need guest rights.

All the on-line listings we can find charge monthly fees for phone numbers and email addresses. We're hoping someone in here can point us to either people or groups that don't charge for reading their ads.

I saw a couple of ads in the Austin paper for Lampasas area but that's farther than you said you wanted to go. I would also check craigslist in Austin, Houston ,San Antonio, Corpus etc. Go to the sporting section and search for "deer lease" and you will find some ads.

Just be ready to spend between $2000 and $3000 per gun.

It's getting crazy around here.
