LoadData... is it worth it?

I have the Lyman 49th, Speer 14th, and a variety of Loadbooks one caliber, and a stack of old paper powder company manuals. Mostly I load 9mm and 380, a bit of 30.06 and .243 as well.

I have a wide variety of powder from 12 ga shotgun loading over the years that I can use for for 9mm and .380.

I subscribe to Handloader and enjoy reading it.

Is the LoadData access worth the $30 fee?

What do you base that answer upon?

Scanning through the 45 acp section there are a considerable amount of loads available, I too am intrigued about possibly joining.

It seems many of the loads are mirror images of the popular manuals but there are quite a bit of other unique loads available. At least it looks that way....anyone have a membership and find it useful?

Unless you have some obscure powders for which data is hard to find, or some custom oddball specialty loads, most powder companies publish load data on their websites at no cost.

I have an account. Some times its just easy to pop on and find a load.

So yes it was worth it.

I intend to allow my subscription to laps this year. I am not using it as much as last year. Once you have printed what you need you've printed what you need.

There is no such thing in my opinion as to much data to reference, as long as it is sound data, and if it works for you to pay 30 bucks for your info, then by all means use it and injoy it. Its your personal choice to spend the fruits of your labor as you see fit.
