What to look for in a new PPS?

I'm gonna get a walther PPS a try. What should I look for as far as the most recent updates. I know that there are recent updates to slide lock spring as recent as BA (2010) date code. Anything else I should look out for?

Figure out what caliber you want. See that the sights are even and unblemished, If they let you break it down you could manually check the spring
http://www.waltherforums.com/forum/p...lide-stop.html Check that the magazine drops free. Like any other new gun purchase look it over for any glaring fit and finish issues.
