Carbon fiber barrel on 10/22

I'm considering adding a Volquartsen THM carbon fiber barrel to my 10/22. I've seen several posts mention them, but not any with a critque. For those that have used the carbon fiber barrels, what do you think of them? What are the pros and cons? How does the carbon fiber effect the heating of the sleeve (seems like it would insulate it)? If you had it to do over again, would you still choose the carbon fiber? Thanks for you help.
