Gun Control Supporter Celebrates Gun Control Repeal for Social Security

https://www.vice.com/en_nz/article/g...e-mentally-ill

Summary: In this article, a strong supporter of gun control sums up the problems of this regulation and explains why it was a bad rule - even though she opposes private ownership of firearms generally. This is both a good read and a good link to share when debating.

I noticed that she repeats the myth that 85 percent of Americans support universal background checks. Other than that, it is a decent article.

Now if someone would just kick the Veterans Administration to the curb over the same issue ...

It is a decent article that just might sow a seed of forethought... maybe.
The very last line however, really gets under my skin.

Quote:
It's time we enact effective—and unbiased—gun control.
Talk about an oxymoron.

Gun control tends to be grossly biased and virtually ineffective to the real problem.

Gun control is great. You need to calm your breathing, focus on the sight picture and line up on the target. Then trigger control takes over.

Beyond that, it is my considered opinion that, there is no common sense gun control. It is just people control on steroids.

If you want to get rid of gun violence then attack the violence and leave the guns out of it.

I agree with Turkeetalker, gun control is inherently biased, for starters; our civilian government exempts itself from most all gun control laws they force on us mere citizens.
