Looking for load data: 41M 210LSWC/TiteGroup

I can only seem to find data for 220gr jacketed bullets. I got a box of 500 leads bullets for free and looking to try them out with Titegroup. Any way for me to adjust the load data from jacketed to lead and/or from 220 to 210gr? I love my 41 but load data seems kinda scarse. It's for a 1st gen Blackhawk.

I suggest that you buy the Lyman # 48 loading manual for a start. This manual would be a very good addition to the manuals you should have already. you do have other manuals don't you? there is alot of other information on the powder companies websites.

I got Lyman's (first one I bought due to all the good word about it) and I also have Lee's, and Hodgdon's that all have plenty of 41 mag loads, but none of them have a load for 210 cast in TiteGroup. I guess I will have to down-load some of the info on the 220 jacketed bullets because I have a few recipes for them sitting around. If it gets listed as a good load for that, I'd think with a real mild load for that would push a cast bullet nicely. This one isnt for power anyway. Most of the loads I make just punch holes in paper and the range around here is only 25 yds anyway, so I've been enjoying the lead bullets I have, and since I got 500 for the 41 for free I'm looking to use them. I had been loading in Unique but I'm out and cant afford to buy another powder right now.

Use your 220 data. Ten grains lighter bullet ain't gonna change nothing enough to notice.

I Don't Have Any Titegroup Loads But I Have A Lot Of Data For .41 Mag And .41 Spl.

I ended up starting out with 6.0gr of Titegroup. I only shot about 6 of them so far just to make sure they worked. I had been using up some of my ones I did with Unique. For the hell of it I took about 8 shots at the target my bro was shooting 223 at out at 100yds. Had 4 hits just playing around because I didnt think I was going to hit it. I still cant believe how strong the 41 is when it recoils less than my 357. It's quick becoming my fav pistol.

I would think 2400 or H4227 would be much better powders for the .41 mag, I load .44-40 and get best results with plinking loads with PB or universal and heavier, full power gc loads with H4227 and 2400, with really heavy bullets, .310 gr, I get much better results with H 110.
You may want to try some of these, I shoot all cast, either plain base or gas check.

Had been looking at H110, but I'm trying to keep a min amount of power on hand so I was looking for something that'd be kinda universal. The TiteGroup really does meter nicely, but it was pretty smokey in the 41 and even a bit in the 357. It wasnt dirty, just smoked alot. Doesnt seem to fill up my cases too well either. Just kinda trying to use it up at this point. The 2400 seems to be pretty popular so that's probly gonna be next on my list. I've been shooting all cast so far as well.

It might be just me, but I have experienced constant less than complete powder burn with 2400 and Unique.

Personally I've been using alot of H110 in my .41 loads.

I've heard of a bunch of people using magnum primers for the 41 even though none of my loadings call for them, especially with H110. Should I be using magnum primers with these? Or just with powders like H110 for heavy loads?

I would think H110 would be for bullets of 240gr or more from at least a 6" barrel in the .41, it does fine in .44 mag with 300gr or heavier bullets.
Bullets between 180 and 210 gr, likely 2400 or H4227 would do best.
I would take H110 and work on it if it were my gun, really seems to do well with heavy bullets.
In my .44-40, H110 gives a 310gr bullet 1350fps and a 230gr only 1200fps in my '92 with 20" barrel with the same weight of powder, really likes a heavy bullet.

As far as primers go I've been using Federal 150 in all my .41 loads. I can't seem to get consistant ignition with anything else in my gun.

I use a load of 7.0 grains Titegroup with a 215 grain cast bullet Rem 2 1/2 primer in RP casees. Haven't Chronographed it yet but works very well. Titegroup burns very consistently in these large capacity pistol cases. Especially good for lite 45 Colt loads.

I had been using Rem 2.5 but the store was out....then they sold me large rifle primers instead (shoulda checked at the store )...then they still didnt have them so I ended up with the CCI large pistols. Was thinking about trying Winchesters because I think I remember seeing them listed as being close to magnum primers.
