Council Bullets?

Has anyone ever heard of Council Bullets? My brother left me quite a few in 30 cal. They are benchrest hollow points. I am sure he purchased them for the target rifle he was building but they were purchased over 9 years ago. The tag on them has an address for Tomball Texas. I do not live down there and have not been able to find anything about them online.

I loaded some for my 300 Win Mag and you talk about accurate. This is a hunting rifle. I loaded up 7 different bullet/powder combinations. he had 125 grain and 150 grain bullets so the 7 were spread over both of those but out of the seven 4 were below an inch. One load that was over an inch I put the first two in the same hole and then yanked the third so it was shooter and not bullet. I am going to reload this round and shoot it again. So really out of the 7 five should have been less than an inch with the best group at .38. Now before anyone asks these are three shot groups. This is how I find out what rounds shoot the best out of my rifles. Then after I shoot 3 shot groups I reload the good ones and try to duplicate the performance. If I can then I reload 10 rounds and see what they shoot then. Hope that explains enough for everyone.

Thanks for any info on Council Bullets. I am curious if they are still in business?
