big Casull bang
hello everyone, i have recently purchased a Taurus Raging Bull in .454 Casull and i would like to get into reloading because the cost of rounds. so i would like to know what the perfect load would be to get a really big bang with a huge flash. for those days when i feel like getting everyones attention at the range

To make muzzle flashes and lots of noise you have to use a slow powder for that cartridge. For you, 38.0 grs of H110 under a 240 gr bullet should do nicely. It is just off of max so load accordingly. OAL is 1.765. Info is from the Hodgdon website.

The bad thing about the RB and muzzle flash is that the end of the barrel shroud is ported. It really kills the flash so that you don't end up getting one of those Desert Eagle ones. I couldn't believe the ring that my friends .50 AE would throw, 3ft long and about 1ft in diameter!
