So the upgrade
instructed the software, that if it gets a division by zero, to "just deal", instead of shutting everything down?

Actually, no.
The upgrade worked, but it (or I) created an error in the actual database. The program performed as it should, but when it got a garbage value in attempting to render pages, it crashed since it couldn't produce an "answer" to the request for a page. Rich
