QPQ service

Are there any reputable companies offering QPQ treatments on single firearms?

H&M will do single guns, they've done a 1911 and a 2011 for me.

They may do good work, but their advertising claims are ludicrous.

H&M Blacknitride+™ makes your gun’s metal 10 times stronger than it was originally. It increases the velocity of your barrel by a few hundred feet-per-second and slickens the surface to make your gun extremely lubricated.

Ten times stronger?
A few hundred fps?
"slickens"

slickized.
They seem to be about the only game in town, so I will have to give them a try I guess.
Maybe my Kahr T9. If they mess it up I finally have a good reason to let it go.

I'd be interested in your experience with them if you do this.

Would you remove your own sights then re-install them when you get the frame and slide back?

Firearm must be totally broken down. Corresponding with Kahr now to see which internals are chromed or nickel plated as those can not be treated
