Sticky Accutrigger!!!
Help! The accutrigger on my model 40 Savage has developed a problem it is a single shot and today after chambering a round and closing the bolt the accutrigger wouldn't work.I would lift the bolt and then the accutrigger would engage.I have cleaned it carefully and applied remoil sparingly but the problem continues any ideas ELMOUSMC

Master Gunz,
I don't know much about accutriggers (nothing at all really) but that sounds like a part defect a gun smith might want to look at. you might be able to get it replaced for free from manufacturer.

I was thinking that exact same thing, the only thing I haven't tried is adjusting the trigger let of a little I have it set as low as it will go and that may be the problem.Semper Fi ELMOUSMC

Could be binding on something. Might want to check stock clearance. Does it work with the action out of the stock?

Increase the trigger pull slightly and see what happens.
