Extra Part!

This little guy rolled out from under my tool box after putting the bolt back together on the Enfield. I definitely does no belong on the Enfield bolt but I can't for the life of me figure out what it goes to!

Certainly one of you has seen one of these and could maybe help me find it's home!

That looks, to me, like part of a sling swivel.
Don't even try it. It's even worse than the internet would lead you to believe.

Thanks FrankerMauser! That is exactly what it was. I didn't know it had fallen off the sling.

'Spare Parts'!
Between parts going into hiding immediately, to 'Extra' parts, to tools growing legs, it's always fun doing this stuff!
Information found on the 'Internet' is worth EXACTLY what you paid for it...
Everyone on the internet is an 'Expert'.
