is there a company u can buy shorter barrels and stocks to turn my m14 into a carbine

Going to reduce extreme range and knock-down power, possibly lose accuracy, make it pickier about loads it will and won't function well with. Are you sure that's what you want to do? You may well find you are better off selling it as it is and puting the proceeds toward a SOCOM, if that's what you really want?
