Shot my first 100 .40 reloads today

Actually shot 122

I had CCI small pistol primers with 4.6 grains of titegroup below a 165 grain. Ranier bullet.

I used the Lee carbide pistol die set and all the rounds functioned perfectly.

After putting 150+ rounds through my Glock 27 I couldn't be happier

That's awesome! Glad to hear it.

You must have a knack for this, my first 50 were garbage, second 50 were hit or miss ( ) it wasn't until after 100 that I got consistency.

Too dangerous to not do it right LOL

The Lee dies make it effortless

I was increasing the charge weight with each batch of 50. I started just below the recipe weight and worked my way up. Didn't get consistency until I was .2-.3 over.

I like the way Titegroup shoots, it is real consistent and does not take up much room in the case. With that smaller volume you have to be careful not to double charge. Of course that goes with any powder. I always like to eyeball each charge before pressing in a bullet.

Sounds like you are on the right track. You worked up the load, found consistent operation, and enjoyed the fruits of your labor.

Looks like a good load. I like TG for lower end power, 4.0-4.4 under a 180gr is sweet. 3.5gr under a 200gr is possibly even sweeter.

I plan on loading some TG under 180gr bullet one day this week. Where did you get your data for them?

Hodgdon's website, my Lyman book has a little bit but not a lot.

Starting load for 180 grain is 4.2 grains with TG

Led where did you get that info at? I didn't see it listed anywhere. It isn't in my Lyman or hornady manual.
