Smith & Wesson Model 627: Can it be Hardchomed?

The snubbie version of the Model 627 has a titanium cylinder and a titanium front barrel. Does anyone know if this gun could be hardchromed, or otherwise refinished? I just don't like the appearance of that dull grey titanium.

Also, I would want three-dot tritium sights installed (rear sight adjustable). Does anyone know if that's possible?

Thanks!

I don't know if titanium can be plated or not. I do know it can be Cerakoted.

The best option here is to call Cogan's and ask him.
He's possibly the most knowledgeable hard chrome plater around and I'm sure he'll know the facts.

Another possible option is to have someone like Cogan polish the cylinder to a brighter finish. That will give it a different look then the gray.

Ti can be anodized, but not electro or chrome plated. The Ti 'grey' is actually oxidization. That can be coloured using heat. Easier and less expensive to Cerakote though.
A net search for 'colouring Ti' turns up 9,710,000 results.

There are Ionbond treatments for titanium. Some are listed silver in color.

Meprolight makes night sights for S&W revolvers.
