Uberti & Pietta screw sizes
Wondering if anyone knew the backstrap and trigger guard screw sizes for the 1851 and 1860 pistols . Most replacement screw sets don't differentiate between Pietta and Uberti . Are they Metric or SAE ?

They will almost certainly be metric and are, at least to some degree, specific to the brand. Brownells has a feature where you can shop by manufacturer.

Pietta & Uberti screws
Upon further inspection and removing the Backstrap screws on both my Pietta and Uberti 1860 Army Pistols and checking the screws with my new Thread Checker they both are M4-0.7 screws . They are interchangeable . That does make sense that they would use a readly available common screw size .
