whats the latest in tuning barrel harmonicks?

Back a few years ago I had a problem with getting a rifle to shoot well. I tuned loads the best I could figure. floated the barrel and they all did show a difference. Then I tried a device that seamed to simply be a heavy doughnut for a funny description. A harmonic balancer that looked like a rubber doughnut. All I had to do with it is find the best spot on the barrels muzzle area for it. It seamed to make a difference. Although it sure was goofy looking.

So what's the latest for research...

What do you know? Is any one using one. What's the latest or is it just a gamic?

Feel free to talk.
