"aguilla" brand .45 acp cases

I recently attempted to reload some brass cases with this head-stamp. Big mistake !!!! Some flash holes were too big, too small, or punched off-center.

As far as i am concerned, i never again attempt to reload this brand of cases. I crushed the case mouth with pliers & put them into my scrap bag to take to the metal recycling center in my home town.

Huh, I've reloaded Aguila 45 ACP cases before without the problems you're describing. They aren't recent purchases, they've been around here for a few years, so maybe something has changed?

Not overly impressed with Aguila. They issue it at Perry for the carbine match. Latch year the guy next to me pulled the trigger on one that sounded weird and sprayed gas and fragments back at him. Checked the round afterward, no flash hole! Just blew the primer out backwards.

No issues here but only have a few. My brass standards aren't very high but my 1911 carry guns will never notice. Could be a bad batch.

Never noticed a problem with them but they are just mixed in with the other miscellaneous cases that get loaded..loaded..loaded until lost.
