R.I.P. Jack Weaver
The shooting world lost one of its best-known names last week. Former Los Angeles County Deputy Jack Weaver, 80, died Tuesday in Carson City. Weaver, for those of you not familiar with the name, he is the man for whom the Weaver Shooting Stance is named. I will remember Weaver's contribution to shooting -every time I take a two handed Weaver, or modified Weaver stance. orchidhunter

Bummer.
I'm glad that at least American Handgunner was able to do a recent interview and story on him before he left us. He led an interesting life and left a lasting legacy.
