Cleaning Brass Ultra-Sonically
I've got an ultra-sonic cleaner, and I read a forum on here awhile back (can't find it now) where a member was talking about ultra-sonically cleaning his brass. Is this OK to do? What should I use as media? Just water?
- Thanks, Buck

One of the nice things about ultrasonic cleaning is the clean case neck. All the carbon and powder residue is taken out from the case. I make's resizing easer because the expander ball is not beiging dragged over all the stuff in the neck. Cleaner cases makes for cleaner reloading too.
I have used almost everything to clean cases, any all porpose detergent or soap will work. Whats nice if you run the cases through again after resizing, the cleaner will quickly remove all the resizing lube! Good Luck Tom F. |

Thanks guys. I used some "ultra-sonic cleaner" looks like some industrial stuff I had in the garage. I let the cases run for about 15min, and some of them came out looking corroded. I'll try some soap and water.
