2005 Deer season in the East Texas woods
1- 8 point buck, 1- 9 point buck and 1 hog. The freezer is full !!!!!!!!!!! I was fortunate enough to harvest all three in the first week of gun season. The 2 deer were taken with a Winchester model 70 in 30-06. The hog fell to a Weatherby also in 30-06. Don't want to sound greedy but can't wait for next year. Hope evryone else had a good season also !!!!!!!!!!!

With two bucks I know you were not in Houston County . But by the looks of the trees you may be west of Houston county. (Crockett)
Bullwinkle is still running around my place somewhere. If I don't see him I may have to try for one of his smaller brothers. I have till this weekend! Looks like you did good! Congratulations! |
