Where do you reload?

I have a large garage and we have a reloading area in it.

A few rounds I would reload in the reloading room.

For 250 pieces of brass, I clamp a press on the desk between me and the keyboard and watch TV on the computer while doing reloading.

For long range rifle work, I reload in the vehicle.

We have an extra bedroom downstairs in the basement 16'x16' with a big closet.
When I built the house this room was always designated as the gun room, and since I was the builder/framer we never deviated from the gun room plan

I reload in the garage. After I've cleared enough space on the workbench I'll get out one of my presses and either C-clamp it to the bench or use the pre-drilled holes to bolt it down. (Depending on the press.)

I load where ever I can find the space, some quiet, some room, or whatever else I need.

All of my gear is stored in a spare closet and I can set it up anywhere in the house in under 2 minutes. I've taken this set up to the range, buddies houses, the garage, I even sized some brass on the back deck last spring on a beautiful 60 degree day.

In our place in Alaska, I had a room in the basement with an underground 50yd. shooting range. In Idaho I have a room in the basement, the lot isn't long enough for a rifel range, maby a pistol range if I don't move when I retire.

I reload in a refridgerator, I mean garage...

Recently, I've been powder charging my cases in the flat and only venturing out into the arctic beyond to seat and crimp in the garage...

I reload sublevel. I have a tiny dirty old basement. Its completely dry. But old and dirty. my head barely clears down there. The wife and kids dont EVER come down. My man cave. Ive got a slop sink, tv, stereo, crapper and beer fridge along with an 8' reloading bench, 2 more big benches with alot of my tools. I like it down there

Where do you guys load?

I have a large wood desk in the livingroom I use for reloading. I can listen to good music while doing my loading. I am close enough to the backroom to hear the phone (it's on my diningroom table with the PC).
My bookcase with gun books, reloading manuals, etc is right next to the reloading desk.

Being single and living alone has it's rewards.

I have a wood desk in the garage. All primers and powder is kept in and old freezer with moisture control products.

In the living room. The spare bedroom is a supply room, and other areas in house store various items. The garage and basement are too cold in the winter.

1100 square foot house (two bed, one bath) so my bench is portable and everything lives in rubbermaid tubs until i need it.

I'm just getting into reloading and will be ordering a press and other gear in the next few days. In my basement furnace room, I have a small work bench set up where I clean my guns. I plan on using the tripod-like reloading bench from Lee to mount the press, and set it up next to the work bench. I probably have no more than a total of 18 square feet to work since this little room is shared with the furnace/Air conditioner, water heater, water softener and a fair amount of storage. I hope I'm not fooling myself thinking that if there is enough room for me to clean my guns, there will be enough for me to do reloading. At least it is heated and air conditioned, and reasonably well lit.

I use that press stand and love it. I reload in a corner sitting on a swivel chair with a bench on my right and my trunk of supplies on my left. Very happily, I might add.

Just be careful of the air currents when your hvac kicks in. Any breeze can play hell with a scale.

Thanks - I figured if I was taking over one side of the closet, I better make it a little nicer so the rib didn't pitch more of a fit than she did.

The top is actually a butcher block (beech, I think) counter top that I bought at Ikea for a pretty decent price. I need to go get another one to make some shelves below out of so it matches.

My old set up was an old kitchen table and some cheap particle board shelving for storage, but this bench is permanent and I wanted to make it a little more upscale. Glad I did - it has become more than just a reloading bench, and although my wife would never admit to it, she likes having it there. Worked out great over Christmas for gift wrapping.

The big plastic drawer things are now below the bench about where they are at now and my shotgun reloading presses reside where they are. The pegboard is great because I can constantly move stuff around - just need to get the shelves below finished so my ammo and component storage is better than what I currently have.

One of my buddy's from college came to visit for a couple of hours on their way back to Ft. Rucker and he about had a heart attack over it, which I admit made me a little proud.

I set mine up in our 3 season room, the only down fall is that as of now there is no heat or a/c. I hope to fix that this summer. Any other ideas are welcome.

you guys are all to neat & clean, LOL I built this little 10'x12' room under the storage loft in the garage, bought a oil heater, and insulated the walls, gets kinda cold in the winter.
