Li'l Gun in .45 Colt

Like a lot of folks, I've been loading hard cast bullets over H110 for heavy loads in my Ruger Blackhawk. Browsing today, I saw one author who was switching to Li'l Gun for the same application. His reasoning: more forgiving of lighter loads, better accuracy, and in most loads more velocity. Anyone here going that direction? I've never had an issue with H110, but I can't help tinkering with loads.

I don'tknow about Lil'gun, but I have a Taurus Thunderbolt, 20" barrel in 45 Colt and have worked up a deer load: 300 JSP with 23.7 grains of RL7. RL7 being even slower than H110.
