Are these the same cartridge? I can only find reloading data and brass for the 38 super. Some help please as I have a Walther P99 on order in 9X21. Thanks

No they are not! The 9x21 was developed because of the countries which do not allow the 9x19 (9mm Luger). Use data for the 9x19, NOT the .38 Super.

You can safely use 9x19 data (stick to loads near max) in your 9x21.

Good cartridge, just a longer case than the 9x19, I've loaded them side-by-side, and with the same powder charges I've gotten similar performance.

Try this link for 9x21 loading info. You can also use data for 356TS&W.

Be careful...the loading data for 9x21mm on Jeff Maass' web page is for tuned IPSC raceguns, not a stock pistol like a Walther P99.

For a standard pistol in 9x21mm, 9x19mm loads will work just fine.
