Hijacking my own post

Thanks all. Very helpful info about both t he ALD and Lew's post about his Velocity drop in. I have another newbie question.
Are anti-walk pins only required for drop in triggers or are they also required/highly recommended for the ALD and other similar trigger component replacements?

I've had one of my Timney triggers come loose. But that's because I was in a hurry and didn't tighten the second set of allen screws with sufficient pressure. Mine didn't double tap, the trigger just came loose. The second set of 8/32 allen screws act as a anti-walk screws and is what locks in the trigger in place.

The hardest part about installing a drop in trigger is starting the 8/32 allen screws. They have to be lined up correctly to thread and so you don't strip the threads in the trigger housing. There's not a lot of room around the opening due to a spring. But a drop in trigger also can't be installed incorrectly either so it has that advantage over regular style triggers.
